Way Out

--
This one is a bit vulnerable. This painting came after the healing, so I guess it’s a testimony painting. As I painted, I wanted to show where I was a year ago. I was battling social anxiety and depression. I questioned every morning why I should even get out of bed. I felt purposeless, no matter the amazing things I was apart of. I felt empty and alone. I felt like I had no impact. I was lost without anybody knowing it except for my mom. But then I began to allow Hope to walk back in. And when I did that, He began to show me that there was a way out.

There is always a way out. Even though sometimes the steps to the opening are difficult, allow Hope to be your crutch to slowly walk out.
