The Process

--
I found myself dealing with many different feelings, questions, and worries. I kept ignoring it and pushing it to the side, because there was better things to deal with. There was people to attend to and its too busy to deal with all of that right now. Or at least that’s what I thought.
It got to a point where it all began to be too heavy that I couldn’t keep ignoring or distracting myself anymore. It was affecting everything I did. I couldn’t keep ignoring the heaviness on my mind and heart.
I felt the pull from the Lord to paint. To sit down, be still, and just paint with Him while I let it all out. So I did. As I painted, I gave him all the thoughts, the questions, and the pain I didn’t know was there. There was healing, peace, and freedom that came when I just sat and gave everything to The King. Something beautiful came out of it.
I pray that whoever this painting goes to, that it’ll be a constant reminder that He’s there waiting to hear everything that’s on your heart. That you can slow down and be honest with Him. He will be there with you through the process.
